It’s a weird time.. or is it a weird time?

I started this blog almost a year ago, and have so far made exactly ONE post. That’s not a great track record, by any means. Am I promising to write more regularly?? Nope… but I sure would like to.

Things are a little weird in the world right now. Everyone is well aware of what is happening at this moment, but for the sake of posterity, I will lay it out – We are in the midst of a public health crisis. An official Pandemic. There seem to be two camps of people – those that think everyone is over reacting, and those that think everyone is not taking it seriously enough… I am in the second camp.

I’m not panicking, but I am very worried. News from other countries that have been dealing with this for months is troubling to say the least. There are a whole lotta people that, might be washing their hands more, but are still going on about their life’s as usual. And, sure, you still have to live – and you can’t live in fear, but you 100% can stop going to social gatherings for a little while. You can maybe save lives of people that aren’t as young, and strong, and invincible as you. You can help stop the spread of something that we still don’t have full knowledge of.

I’m hopeful that the outright silliness and panic that has been reported (but I have yet to personally see) will settle soon. But I also hope the disregard for the recommendation to stay home will settle soon as well.

That’s all for now. You’ll get something a bit more doggy soon.
